We are home based breeders, located in the foothills of the Latrobe Valley in Yinnar South, Victoria.

The Healthy Cavalier

​Here at Melvatar we breed dogs that meet the Breed Standard.  You can have peace of mind that all our puppies come from health tested parents and every one of  our dogs hold Cardiologist Certified Heart Certificates which are updated annually.  They are also tested clear by Eye Specialists and hold ACES Certificates.                                                                         

​Our dogs are also patella sound and all dogs have been DNA tested for Curly Coat/Dry Eye and Episodic Falling Down Syndrome.​

We Raise our Puppies in a Great Environment

At Melvatar Cavaliers we raise our puppies in a loving, stimulating and happy environment, showering them with lots of love and attention.  I​t is imperative that puppies are encouraged to learn by social stimulation, exploring sights, sounds, smells and most of all negotiation skills with their siblings for a well rounded happy and confident baby.
